Each year, the Dunamis Competition, organized by the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlights businesses who stand out for their skills and their contribution to the Laval region. The My Technician team has made this competition’s honour roll for four years running.
In 2019, we were proud to win the Dunamis Award for best Service Company. This distinction was a testament to the exceptional quality of our services as well as our exemplary management of the company.
The following year, our team was a double finalist – for best Service Company and for Employer of the Year.
In 2022, we are once again in the running for Employer of the Year. According to the Dunamis Competition website, this category recognizes specific actions taken by companies with the aim of seeking continuous improvement in terms of its human resources. These concrete actions may involve training, skills development, immigrant integration, support of all kinds, work-family balance, etc.
“It is always an honour to be selected for the Dunamis competition,” says Sylvain Dion, the President and CEO of My Technician. “It’s a great vote of confidence by the Laval business community and it also allows our staff members to shine for their efforts. We figure we must be on the right track,” he proudly adds.
Of Greek origin, the term Dunamis means “power,” in the sense of talent, moral strength, being able to perform miracles. Without a doubt, our concern for the well-being of our employees and our motivation to provide an exceptional work environment is a major factor in our recognition by the Dunamis jury.
